It started with 50 cupcakes and the Superheroes and Blue Umbrella event. Every recipe on this site exists because Vedhica believes the best part of baking is giving it away.

How it began

Vedhica loved baking every day — but the cakes usually just got eaten at home or shared with friends at birthday parties. Since they were really tasty, she had a simple thought: why not donate to some charities? They might want some delicious treats too.

Her first charity bake was 50 cupcakes for the Superheroes and Blue Umbrella event on July 3. It's the newest chapter of her story — and the one that keeps growing every time she bakes.

A little recognition

The Blue Umbrella gave Vedhica a certificate for volunteering — "celebrating a young heart whose thoughtful cupcakes made our special children feel loved and cherished."
